What is a 1915 Special Assessment? 1915 bonds are commonly an amount that is included in your anual property taxes to pay for bonds that financed infrastructure projects such as utilites, sewer lines, roads, etc... These will typically be listed as an Assessment District or Assessment Bond line item on your tax bill. It is important to note that the assessments are secured by a lien on your property, and the district has the right of foreclosure if assessments are not paid when due. Leaking Underground Storage Tank Information System (LUST) Leaking fuel tanks are the most widespread source of contamination.
